Hello. No problem. Understand technical difficulties.

E.R. Doctor always out of network too
Colorado has had surprise billing protections since a year ago January. However will this also apply to Medicare or Orginal Medicare clients with a supplement?
I assume this also covers labs drawn in the doctor's office and then sent to an out of network lab?
I had a client that got a surprise bill for anesthesia when had a baby
Claudia, anesthesia does the epidurals
Is this for ACA plans effective 1/1/2022??
what it is a serious asthma attack
Could this be applied to "urgent" care as well?
Glad air ambulance is included!!
RAPE-Radiologist, Anesthesiologist, Pathologist, E.R. Doctor easier to remember
what is the ga law
Is there a state law in CALIF? or would be bullet point # 3 for CA? Also Texas? Where to find this information?
So it is based on the 'service' state and not where the policy is written... that makes sense
Is there a penalty if the provider sends a balance bill to the patient anyway?
on Post Stabilization, does the provider have a time frame to inform the patient that that they are out of network?
There is a slim chance an Out of Network-aka Surprise bill will get to patient within 30 days, what happens if it never comes or does in 60 or 90 days
what if there is no in-network alternative and the patient is stuck with the out of network provider at the in network facility? Are hospitals required to have RAPERS who are I network with all of the health plans that the hospital has contracts with?
Does this apply to individual health plans as well?
you're unconscious and no choice
ER Doctor won't do this!
ER Doctors usually are floaters without an office
ER docs may not do it but attending docs will.
As a Medical Bill Advocate in the past I had to ask clients where is your ER Doctor bill, they had no clue, I had to hunt it down, they thought it was included on hospital bill
Who is going to become these IDRs? What are the requirements?
What about LEVEL funding plan... carrier or employer?
is there any update on the broker compensation disclosure?
I also would like to know if there's any updated on the broker compensation disclosure.
Will there be an overview handout for our groups?
how does the level funded clients stay compliant with the new Act?
LuAnn there was a Broker Comp. Webinar at 9 am MST Dave did for Benefit mall did this morning
can you put website
I never got information about a broker compliance webinar being held? How can I get either a recording of that presentation or the slides from it?
I apologize for not knowing about the broker compensation update webinar this morning. Will there be a link to that which I can view? If so, please post where and when available.
they love penalties
I am a broker in Colorado that responded to Broker Comp scenario...they recorded it..
Same here, about broker comp? Did not receive any info about webinar...
Will this apply to Level-funded plans since they are self-funded? I would hope carriers would be responsible for level-funded. Do we know yet?
I didn't know about the broker compensation webinar. Are you able to send us those slides?
What happens if people have no idea there is a surprise biller if they never got a bill-like a assistant surgeon that has happened before-surgeon was in network-never said a thing until member got a bill
Ellen Marie Helinka
Can you review how these regulations would work with an out of network plan?
Is Surprise Billing Law for only Group Health, not individual
I asked very early on will this apply to Medicare Clients as well? Either with or without a supplement or Advantage plan..
thus you still get surprised billing through your rates!
W Braiden Darley
One would think that providers will be forced to join a network as why would they want to go through the hoops and end up getting what effectively is the network reimbursement.
E.R. Doc's always
Robin Van Vliet
It begs the question about the future of PPOs instead of EPOs considering the deductibles are so high out of network.
I had that happen with an assistant surgeon in Colorado for a woman with a hysterectomy- and before our surprise bill was passed in Colorado, the assistant the surgeon with my help with the DOI dropped his bill from 2800 to nothing!
Thank you! great job!
GREAT WEBINAR THANK YOU :)
Can you please send the slides and recording for the compensation update (even if no new news)?
Will this also apply to facility fees charged on top of an office visit?
